Parents, Queens, and a Lost Kit?

Ravenswoop sat, tail curled around his paws as he stared out into the ocean, thinking about his last encounter with Lionstrike. There was obviously something wrong, something that involved MistClan. A shock of realization shot through him, and his yellow eyes widened slightly. Could he really...?
The grey-brown deputy didn't have time to finish his thoughts. A rustle sounded nearby, and his ears pricked instinctively. It -whatever it was- made too much noise for a piece of prey, and ever since Featherstar visited the camp, he couldn't be sure whether or not it was an intruder. He let out a low growl, waiting.
There was a flash of cream fur shown through the trees. Ravenswoop narrowed his eyes, ready to pounce, and out came...his parents.
He stopped, in shock. "Mom? Dad?"
The gray tom focused his eyes on the deputy and smiled faintly. "Hello Ravenswoop. Didn't think we'd find you here."
The cream she-cat stepped out, purring. "We found him, Wolfpelt." She looked him over. "Did you find somewhere to stay?"
Ravenswoop nodded. "Another clan, actually." He noticed their eyes and mewed, "You two look tired. Follow me, and I'll introduce you to Foxstar." He flicked his tail towards the direction of camp.
The tom - Wolfpelt - protested. "We're fine. Better than ever. We're not tired." His eyes flashed defiantly.
Ravenswoop grinned, and lead them into the forest.
-------
Foxstar wandered aimlessly around camp, stopping next to the fresh kill pile every so often. His head was still filled with thoughts of Featherstar, but he pushed them aside as two she-cats stepped through the camp entrance, taking a glance around.
One, a ginger one, step forward to Foxstar, eyes showing urgency. "This is a clan right?"
He nodded, curious.
"I'm, um, Emberflair, and that's Dovestream." She tilted her head toward the silver cat. "You-you do have a nursery, right?"
He nodded again, gesturing toward the den.
"We're expecting kits, but Dovestream here...I think she's having it right about now."
The leader's green eyes widened slightly, and he lead the two to the nursery. After they were both in, he called out, looking around camp. "Dreamfeather! I need you!"
The black medicine cat sped out of the medicine cat den, eyes still in shock. "Yes?"
"There's a queen, two queens in there. One of them is having kits right about now."
Dreamfeather nodded. "I'm on it," she said and disappeared inside the den.
Foxstar let his gaze linger in the shaded den for a moment longer, then left, breathing out a sigh.
-------
Rainheart lay near a stream, in deep thought as she watched the running water. Anger still bubbled from her argument with that fox-dung of a warrior, and she'd come here to settle everything out in her mind. A twig snapped, a bush near her, and she instantly stood up, eyes alert.
Her spine fur prickled, and she snarled at whatever was there, praying to StarClan that it wasn't a piece of prey she scared away.
Instead, a small black kit stepped out from underneath the bush, a defiant look in her eyes. "What are you snarling at?"
Rainheart narrowed her eyes, ignoring her question. "Who are you?"
"Gladekit. Ran away from my clan." She bared her teeth, anger flickering across her eyes.
Rainheart glared back, but bit back a retort for the sake of another member. "Did you want a place to stay or what?"
Gladekit growled. "Fine. Whatever."
The warrior stifled a sigh and bent down to grab the kit by the scruff until Gladekit ducked under her, anger ablaze. "You aren't my mother. Don't assume you can do that just because I'm a kit," she spat.
Rainheart ignored her comment, stooping down yet again and biting down slightly on the scruff. "I'm assuming I can do that because I have more authority than you, mouse-brain," she muttered through her grip, heading into camp once more.

(WHOOT. FINALLY A POST. xD
Comment here instead, I suppose.)

  2. Shadowflower padded across the clearing to the area near the Leader's Den. "Mom! Dad!" Shadowflower purred as she greeted Wolfpelt and Swallownose warmly. "Looking young as ever, Wolfpelt." She passed a sly wink to Foxstar.

  3. Foxstar smiled weakly, nodding to the two. He tilted his head to the side awkwardly and said, "Elders' Den then...?"

Wolfpelt blinked and chuckled. "No, no, no, the WARRIORS Den. The Elder's Den is for crusty old curmudgeons!" He mewed enthusiasticly. Shadowflower (unsuccesfully) tried to stifle a mrrrow of laughter and Ravenswoop rolled his eyes to StarClan.

  5. Foxstar grinned, but glanced at Shadowflower, unsure of what to say. They very well weren't in the shape for being warriors, but Wolfpelt certainly had the personality for it.

Shadowflower shook her head vigorously to Foxstar. She leaned over and whispered, 'He's far too old for fighting. Almost 12 seasons. He's a very talented hunter, though, but I would strongly suggest against him being a Warrior.'

  7. Foxstar nodded and glanced back to the two. His ear twitched as he spoke, "The Warriors Den?" He forced a grin. "How long have you been in a clan?"

  9. Falconfeather stretched and rolled over onto her side, she licked a paw and drew it over her ear.

Emberflair stepped out of the nursery and purred as sunlight hit her pelt.

"I don't think we've been in one Clan for more than a half-moon...You see, we've been looking for Shadowflower and Ravenswoop." Swallownose mewed, and then continued, "But we'd like to permanantly stay in your Clan, if thats okay, becuase our kits are here and we need to settle down. We're not as young as we used to be."
An offended snort resounded from Wolfpelt, but he said nothing.

  11. Foxstar nodded. "I understand. Of course you can stay. There's plenty of room here." His tail brushed to the side as he smiled.

Swallownose locomoted Wolfpelt (who stomped grudgingly, muttering things under his breath) over to the Elder's Den. Swallownose nodded a polite thank-you to Foxstar over her shoulder and they disappeared into the mossy cave. Ravenswoop and Shadowflower dispersed slowly and padded their seperate ways.
